In 2014, Soliz Casa de Tacos entered an exciting new chapter when Eric took over the family business. With a passion for the restaurant’s roots and a vision for its future, Eric brought a fresh perspective, overseeing a remodel that updated the space and infused it with new energy. His forward-thinking approach not only revitalized the restaurant but also laid the groundwork for growth, helping Soliz Casa to expand its presence and reach even more people with its authentic tacos that had become a Houston, TX staple.

Nearly four decades later, Ms. Soliz’s restaurant continues to thrive, representing not only her success but also Eric’s success with the enduring power of passion, hard work, and community. In 2024, Eric and his partners took a bold step forward by expanding the Soliz brand to multiple locations and preparing for future growth. With a seasoned leadership team bringing over 75 years of combined experience in restaurant management and multi-unit operations is poised to take the beloved Soliz Casa de Tacos concept to new heights.

As part of the 2024 expansion, Soliz launched its new logo and rebranded as Soliz Casa de Tacos & Café to introduce a range of hot beverages to its menu, complementing its authentic breakfast tacos with a variety of café-style offerings. This rebranding, complete with a fresh new name and logo, reflects Soliz’s commitment to evolving with its customers’ needs while staying true to its roots and continuing to build on the dream that began with Ms. Soliz in 1984.
